prof. dr. sc. Darko Luki\u0107, born in 1962, was elected a full professor at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Zagreb, where he worked until 2019. He is the founder of the production studies at that academy in 2001. As a mentor and trainer, he participates in the audience development program and capacity building program at the Rijeka 2020 European Capital of Culture event and in the European audience development program ADESTE +. As a visiting professor, he teaches at universities in Germany and Spain, and until 2019 he taught regularly at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Zagreb and at the doctoral study of literature, performing arts, film and culture at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. He has also lectured at Karl-Franzens-Universit\u00e4t Graz (Austria) and visited numerous universities abroad (Austria, Great Britain, USA, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland). He received his doctorate in art – theatrology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb in 2005, his master’s degree in dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade in 1990, and his degree in comparative literature, philosophy and theatrology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo in 1985.<\/p>\n
He continued his studies at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University in New York in 1997 as a Fulbright Scholar, then at the European Academy for Culture and Management in Salzburg in 1995, then at the Institute for Theater Anthropology, University of Copenhagen in 1998, and as a resident playwright at the Royal Court Theater in London in 1996 with a scholarship from the British Council, and Le Chartreuse, Avignon, in 1994 as a fellow of the French Ministry of Culture.<\/p>\n
He graduated in e-learning course design at ELA (E-learning academy) in Zagreb, and is a certified trainer for teachers with a TQ diploma (Teaching Intelligence – education for educators).<\/p>\n
In addition to professional works, he also publishes prose, dramatic texts, and translations from English and Spanish.<\/p>\n
